Crossing into Croatia is where the fun begins, I head straight for the air force base that is left to rot. Zeljava Aerodrome. Enjoy the photos from here. If you are in the area I highly suggest stopping in. although unless you have good tyres maybe don’t drive inside as there is a lot of items on the ground that could puncture the tyres.
Next, onto Skradinski Buk Waterfall, it was winter while I was here so a lot of trails were too dangerous to walk, and that’s me saying it as half these photos are actually past the do not enter signs. Shhh… don’t tell Asareh. Enjoy the waterfalls and lakes.
The roads through Croatia were rather narrow, and a lot of my roads took me over mountains. so much snow was found.
Before I knew it, I was at Genova ready to catch a ferry. 3300kms completed with only the bloody speedo failing yet again. As you can see from the photos the cars here are crazy overloaded. makes me feel good about my roof load that’s for sure.
