We have some time to kill… we have a vehicle… and we have passports in hand.
With some quick work I install a second battery, fridge, and an isolator setup. With the L200 ready to go we begin our journey to, Romania! Why not mix it up. Of course we hit a few other countries on the way and we start our trip from Antalya and spend 2 days getting to the Bulgaria border. Our days are mainly just driving, but our camp on night 1 was lovely if you of course ignore the mozzies. Small problems right? Pina loves it as the grass is long and he is gone.
Day 2 has our standard stop for a restock at Edirne to get a few gifts for our friend in Bosnia and prep for the border crossing, which went smoothly, although it is raining heavy and the idea to camp is put on hold as right at the border there is a new casino, and you can even smoke at the machines!! What a great night. We leave with a profit of 400 bucks and this will cover our fuels for the next couple days and our return trip through Bulgaria. WOOHOO!!! plus it was just a good excuse to break out the nice clothes.
Now that the big drive is complete the adventure can begin.
