After the D915 drive I figured it was time to see how wild of roads I could find. I guess for this blog I will just let the photos do the talking, I winded my way through about 75kms worth of crazy switch backs, loose rock slopes, thick fog and walked away okay. Please enjoy the photos.
- The very start and end of pavement
- and into the gravel
- The first dead end road I checked out
Small town at the end of the road
- Cute!
- Now the real drive begins
- getting slightly narrow
- topped out
- And at the top
- Even more narrow and loose stone
- snow!
- The view was worth the drive for sure
- In and out of the fog all day
- Back down and out of the mountains
- Time to air back up
Actually after the passes, I ended up driving through Turkeys longest tunnel, the Mount Ovit tunnel, at a staggering 14.3Kms long.
And finally on the hunt for camp. Just in time for sunset and Kebab.
- Now thats a good view for free
- See I eat my vegetable
Did you buy the excuse for not wanting to write? Or maybe I am just lazy tonight..
