The birds, clearly sick of the snoring wake us up. Do do dooooo, on repeat. Nice the first time, after a while, please leave my camp.  A light breakfast of toast and amarula coffee gets us running.  I get all the cameras back on charge and transfer photos as required.

The handbags are out in full group

Top Tip: I have begun only buying devices that require the same charging cables and either require usb charging or can be modified to work that way.  Even our mavic drone is now hardwired into the wagon to allow quick and easy charging and keeps the cable management to a minimum.

On route to Deception valley If you are curious about our free space you’re lookin at it.

Out of wood our morning pack up is a little quicker, and my perimeter walk reveals no animals were close to us. Today we are motoring to Deception valley, and we seen the most dangerous animal of all… Humans!! We had a few days where there was no one and now as we got closer to the top spots/ tourist camps we start seeing other cars and tour trucks around noon.  Otherwise it was a nice quiet drive with animals all over.

The family out and about Little fox on the hunt

The road improved so much we even aired back up to 28psi. this is always a win in my books. While stopped we even enjoyed a nice cool juice. Arriving around 3 pm we collect some wood and setup for the night. We are running on fumes so I put our jerry cans into the wagon, we only have 100kms or so to go till the exit, so we are no longer worried about fuel.

Some other type of canine.. this one a bit more chill

We get a fire going as the sun sets,  and as our last night in the bush we enjoy a dinner of spag bol, salad with avo, which is paired with a red wine, I do belive this one had a leathery aftertaste, bon appetite. We pack up everything and even pack away hot water for the morning, we wanna go see a lion.

Asareh working her magic 10/10 Would dine here again And now to relax
