We make a b-line out of the scary forest and head for Bucharest, as we have a guest arriving today. The drive is uneventful and we always find time for a coffee at the river. A very clean river actually. Water was nice. You can tell its spring, the flowers are in bloom, and the grass is looking that new green, you know the one.
We get to town and first up is collect Suzie from the airport, which gets a bit hectic, as I am trying to figure out where to drop Asareh off, we end up having to do a loop of the round a bout, the issue is since we got the injectors rebuilt, the ute has been throwing mad engine lights. And right here it decides to doit, now I have a cop yelling at me to move on, we are trying to explain the issue, I’m on the OBD2 app sorting the light, the ute roars to life as it switches from limp mode to party mode and we are moving. I don’t understand the need to freak at people who stop on the side of the road for 30 seconds with the 4 ways on. Anyways, with the collection complete its time to hit up the town.
We head for our Airbnb for the night, and quite frankly the best one on the trip for in city units, clean, has everything, just awesome. After parking the ute we head into town on foot, the sun is peaking between clouds and it’s a decent day overall. We check out a few churches dating back many 100’s of years and 1 well over 1000. We finish the night at a famous restaurant, there is dancing inside, it’s a lively place with good music and even better food. Very impressive. We wander home through the old buildings ready for what ever tomorrow will throw at us.
