Waking up in a bed is always nice as the swag is a bit tight on space now the Pina is full grown. We have a fantastic little apartment with a washing machines, so straight to chores before we head on out for the day. We don’t want to disturb the car so we do all of todays touring on foot. Our first stop is the old town market, where we quickly get a Turkish feeling, although the items being sold are slightly different there is a lot of overlap.

With a quick breakfast of cevapi, which is basically a meat sausage type deal we move on explore a few museums before making our way to the museum of Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide. This one is heavy, and we take no photos. Interestingly enough, when we go places like this we split up and spend our own time alone, it makes it a little easier I guess. Once out we definitely require a beer to cheer ourselves back up, of course we discuss what we have seen, how things could change, why they don’t? overall a bit heavy.

All this calls for a nap. Before we head back out for a long walk for dinner at a nice steak house. The food is spot on, and the drinks very tasty. But its only the beginning, after a quick work call we get straight into it at a local art deco style bar. I think the drinks were only about 4 bucks each for martinis, so you can guess how this went. Great night 10/10 highly recommend.

It is nice spending 2 nights in one place to properly clean up and relax. The next morning, which should be in the next blog.. but the photos ended up here we visited the tunnel of hope. which moved supplies to city curing the siege in the war. they still have a small bit of the original tunnel you can see
