We all knew this post would happen, I mean I was just at Karahan Tepe a few days back.. you cant expect me not to stop at Göbeklitepe to see what its all about. Dating back to 12000 years ago, there is a bit of everything from obelisks to general simple carvings which range over 2000 years based on the layer they are found in.

Overall definitely worth the time to stop here and have a glimpse at the past, researches are still trying to figure out its exact purpose, which we may never know. But we, as professionals… think it may have been a school, hence all the animals, and alignments to aid in teaching the new civilization in order to farm and succeed in the adaptation from a hunter gatherer civilization.
Or… were we visited by aliens and given advenaced technology before the Younger dryas impact event??? Hmmmm….
