Today we hammer north to Tehran, but first, I witness the most arched semi-trailer ever, I mean just look at it (Look below) its crazy, why? That’s way too much arch for such a short trailer. Any whooo… we basically head straight past Tehran, maybe next time I will finally visit it as we want to spend our last few days in the northern mountains enjoying the wilderness. Our drive takes us through unfinished tunnels, winding mountains roads and the famous Chalus Road, luckily for us it was empty today, it can have 2-day long traffic jams during the holiday season.
Then some dude wear an old top hat yelled “Tradeeeee Placccesssss!!!!”
We reach Siah Bisheh where we decide to grab a small bite to eat, I get meat, Asareh grabs more liver. This will save us making dinner tonight as we honestly just can’t be bothered as we are back into a region of cold weather. Its going down to -4 tonight, so the diesel heater is put back into service and keeps the tent toasty all night.
Pina of course does some posing on the car, and runs around till the sunsets, once he gets too hard to see we call him back to the car, and it was getting cold out for him we figure, as he had shed quite a bit in to 35c areas we were in. it’s a bit tough on him, since the heat change was quite dramatic, and it also explains why we didn’t keep going south past Dezful.
We finish the night with a killer view:
