Our end goal tonight is to arrive in Ilam and meet with some family, but of course the road zigs and zags, now the view is stunning so there are no complaints there, but some of the on coming traffic is driving shockingly dangerous even for my likes. It seems like if you place a no passing sign on a dangerous corner people will attempt to pass a loaded truck here. We seem many close calls, but our wagon has a large amount of extra power so passing normally isn’t a problem even on the short straights.

Our first stop of the day is a bit of a flop, we are hunting for a famous waterfall that sadly isn’t really running, but luckily we are headed for Bisheh and that waterfall is running, and it is stunning. We find not so busy rock to sit on and enjoy it for a bit. There are people that carry down tents and spend the weekends here so it is a bit crowed where there are flat spots, but you can get tea and shisha to smoke so its alright.

The road from here is the worst bit, tight turns, steep climbs, and crazy drivers. But we push on. Eventually arriving at Shabab, a town famous for liver wrapped in the lung covering, I must say, it is amazing and we grab some for take away. But it must not be over cooked, otherwise its ruined. I will add, although I didn’t photograph it, they skinned a sheep using compressed air, it worked well, curious if they have ever had an explosion. Lol

The last few kms fly past as the highway is now 4 lanes and before we know it, we are in Ilam, time to relax and enjoy the night. We have been invited to a escape room, but will post pone it till we come back.
