This is a 2 part blog, and I will start with our day, go into just the outside area around the bunker and then blog 2 will continue inside the bunker as there were way to many photos taken.

We get up early as we have made plans and stop in town for brekky, we hit up this little local place and get a very delicious brekky, pictures are missing from this for some reason, but they all came out we took group photos together, they were over the moon we ate there.

About 30 minutes later we meet up with our new friends and head to the nuclear bunker down the road. Arriving we see everything is on display, including SATAN, the missile that could end the earth, you can touch it, a literal world ending weapon, on display. Still with blasting cap on the bottom. According to our guide the nukes are “missing” but all parts are there to make it functional in a technical sense.

There are a ton of weapons in general on display, and when you figure this is what the government is willing to let you see it raises many questions onto what they must actually have now.

They had multiple missile carrying trucks and trailers on display, 2 of the trucks were rocket supports that were uncovered. But further back there was a truck that was fully covered, and had its doors locked… the fresh oil on the suspension leads me to believe these trucks are started on the regular as they all seem very complete, or maybe I’m a bit crazy. The second truck was for loading the missile into the actual silo. Big big units.

We see the complete convoy of trucks that are used for the continuous movement of the missile to keep them hidden, of which some still run in Russia along with the Ghost trains.

As a bonus you are allowed to climb on everything, and like hell I wont get on a jet or tank!!!

Next up we go into the bunker!!
